Round House Studios organized an ‘Open House’ last week and it was a first for me; I opened up my space, my world, to ‘people’. Of course I showcased my art in numerous venues in the past years but I think opening my doors to everybody where I create and feel as a ‘safe zone’ is a vulnerable thing to do so it made me a little nervous. It went great tho; couldn’t count how many visitors I had and I sold two pieces! It was so nice to chat with strangers and friends/acquaintances about my works and my process, and I discovered how chatty I can get 🙂 We also started displaying our first group exhibition at the entrance, which can be seen until mid August.
